XV Cars would not be complete without an interior equal to the suspension, brake and driveline upgrades made on the rest of the car. XV endeavored to create a modern and comfortable environment on par with the rest of the vehicle.

The first requirement was a to find ergonomic and supportive seats that would allow the driver to focus on the business of driving rather than keeping themselves planted in the seat under hard cornering, or trying to get comfortable on a long distance drive. To this end we started with Recaro seats and loaded them with all the power options available, heating and adjustable lumbar support. In keeping with the vintage of these cars, we had the seats custom upholstered in high grade real leather, in a retro styling and had the XV logo custom embroidered on them.

To keep the noise under control and allow the driver to enjoy the high end stereo components installed, we made extensive use of sound deadening materials, using multiple layers of different materials to control sound and provide heat barriers where needed. The entire passenger compartment was evaluated in this regard and materials used extensively throughout.

We also spent a significant amount of time evaluating the best stereo components and development of a complete sound system of the vehicles to deliver high end audio solutions that would deliver a complete and high quality enterntainment solution as well as iPod interface, satellite radio options and GPS based navigation systems.

To accommodate some of these components, custom pieces were designed to house the equipment and a custom console designed that would allow mounting of stereo components with motorized video screens. Again, the console was designed to maintain a retro styling , in keeping with the vehicles roots.

We added real wool carpeting and covered all interior panels and the dash pad in simulated leather that looks and feels just like real leather, but is far more durable and UV stable. Custom instrumentation was another core requirement in our interior design, including blue LED ack lighting and custom screened 200 MPH speedometer.

Add to these items, power windows, door locks, air conditioning, front and rear defroster and more, the interiors of XV cars were designed to deliver both form and function.

No details were ignored in redesigning the interior of XV's cars.
