XV Motorsports has completed track testing of its Level I Suspension and Level I brakes for E Body Mopars. You can see the actual track testing on Dream Car Garage on Speed the week of April 10th.

Level I suspension is an optimization of the stock type suspension components, maintaining leaf springs and torsion bars, but optimizing the rates and matching all components, including shock valving and sway bar sizes for use with modern low-profile high, high performance tires.

We were very pleased with the results of the track testing, the car being very close to optimal right out of the box due to the extensive four post and torsion testing performed previously. Everyone in attendance was very impressed with the performance, cornering and braking of the vehicle.

In every category the car performed many fold better than it did in stock configuration and provided significant increases in driver confidence allowing it to be pushed around the track very hard.

XV Will be using the Level I suspension on some of the vehicles we are building as well as offering it to others to be installed on their own vehicles. Level I brakes will also be available and can be installed on the stock Mopar suspension.

In addition to the XV Level I Suspension and XV Level I brakepackages installed on our 71 Cuda engineering car, it also had the following components installed and successfully tested during this all day track test:

5.7 Hemi making approximately 440 HP w/ 7,000 RPM redline with XV rods and pistons, camshaft and standalone EMS, w/ custom XV tuning. Five speed transmission, upgraded 8-3/4 rear featuring a nodular iron center section with billet adjusters, alloy axles, alloy wheel studs and a gear drive differential,

Hydroboost, XV Chassis stiffening components including engine compartment brace, XV EFI fuel system and XV aluminum radiator and shroud with electric fan.

We are very pleased with the performance of our components and actively working on finalizing pricing and getting them in to production.

The 71 Cuda engineering car is now having the XV Level II suspension and XV Level II brakes installed for four post testing the week of April 10th and track testing the week of April 17th.
