Our short blocks are professionally built by seasoned engine builders who blueprint each assembly. We also build motors for a top BAJA off-road race team, where durability is critical.

NOTES ON BALANCING A STROKER:
1. Crank gets set up on balancing machine w/ bob weights and run to see how far out of balance
2. Front & rear counterweights are bored in two places each on a mill then reamed to accept heavy metal
3. Heavy metal slugs are cut to length on a lathe
4. Slugs are pressed into place and TIG welded
5. Crank is mounted on balancer w/ bob weights
6. Slugs are drilled for any adjustments
7. Crank is spun on balancer again for final check
8. Balanced to 1/2 Gram
