XV MOTORSPORTS is now offering our own line of 5.7 HEMI crate engines as DROP-IN packages! What’s an XV DROP-IN? Our DROP-IN engine packages come complete, literally ready to drop right into your ride and in the configuration you want. Complete means with all the electronics ready to go, harnesses installed, all sensors in place and your choice of accessories (with the belt installed). You even have a choice of oil pans!
With or without A/C. With or without Power Steering and available in multiple power levels. Our Carbureted version come with the electronics fully pre-programmed with optimal spark and timing curves for the given engine package and a properly sized, and calibrated, carburetor. Add a two wire hook-up and your new HEMI installation just became a breeze.
These engines feature all new first quality components and carry a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty against materials and manufacturing defects.
Choose from 365, 405 or 430 Horsepower configurations. All carbureted engines use our dyno proven XV Single Plane Intake Manifold, Holley Carburetor and a fully programmable engine controller that has been pre-programmed for the engine package.
There are two general accessory layouts - TRUCK and CAR. The Truck layout places the accessories up high and in-board. The Car layout places the accessories down low and more spread out.

5.7 HEMI FUEL INJECTED CRATE ENGINES
XV Fuel Injected Drop-In engines feature XV’s own, dyno proven Single Plane Intake Manifold, Billet Fuel Rails, 42LB Fuel Injectors, Billet 4-BBL EFI Throttle Body, all requisite sensors installed and a complete fully programmable FAST EFI system with all requisite harnesses. The EFI versions of these engine packages do not come with engine management pre-programmed. Customers will need to program and tune the fuel injection system on these packages.

Both Carbureted and EFI Drop-In packages come standard with a rear-sump stamped steel oil pan installed. An optional Milodon steel engine swap pan and pickup can be installed as an upgrade. The Milodon pan offers increased capacity and is designed to work in 59-74 A, B, C & E body Mopars. You can also upgrade your engine by having one of our Billet Water Necks installed.
